Academy
Last week, we dove headfirst into the design and completion of the UI kit, meticulously working out the design elements and transforming them into a final, captivating design. Once we were thrilled with the design, we began the exhilarating process of converting the visual elements into programmable code.
Today, we celebrate our triumphant completion of the UI kit development. With the kit in hand, we’ve developed a set of versatile UI widgets that adhere to the design guidelines outlined in the kit. These widgets now empower us to craft consistent and responsive user interfaces for our applications.
Partnerships:
We’re currently in electrifying discussions with various projects across sectors like Baking, Liquidity Mining, and DeFi. During these talks, we’ve showcased the mesmerizing new design of the Dohrnii Academy app and shared its innovative features, including Learn to Earn, collecting XPs, the Story function, and the leaderboard. Our potential partners have been genuinely impressed and captivated by these ideas.
However, we’ve concluded that we’re not quite ready to forge partnerships with the current app design. The app presently lacks the features we desire, so we’ve decided to hold our horses and pause further discussions until the Academy is ready with its new design and additional features. This approach will guarantee the best experience and functionality for our users and partners.
Social Media Engagement:
We’ve had the opportunity to engage with some prominent crypto industry figures and unveil our app's new design and enthralling features. They were genuinely captivated and enthusiastic, expressing an eagerness to collaborate with us.
Yet, we don’t feel prepared to pursue partnerships with our current app version. For this reason, we’ve decided to temporarily postpone expanding our community until we can present a more optimized and appealing app that will better serve our users and partners.
At the moment, our focus is on the adventurous redesign of the app. Simultaneously, we’re holding discussions with businesses and influencers about potential collaborations. The new design and additional features of the Academy will significantly bolster our efforts in this direction.
Dohrnii Wallet:
The beta testing proceeded smoothly and without major hitches. Testers were able to access their wallets using their private keys containing their staked DHN. Minor issues were reported and promptly resolved. We’re excited to inform you that the wallet will soon go live. Today, we submitted the request for its release in the App Store. Generally, this process takes at least 48 hours, but in this case, it might be expedited, as the app has already been published in the App Store, and this is merely an update. We'll promptly notify you as soon as it’s available in the App Store.
Some thrilling information about the Dohrnii wallet: it’s a user-friendly, non-custodial wallet offering a plethora of features to meet the needs of the crypto community. Key features of the wallet include:
1. Storing, sending, and receiving cryptocurrencies: The Dohrnii wallet allows users to securely store their digital assets and perform transactions such as sending and receiving tokens with ease and convenience.
2. Staking: The wallet previously offered a staking function, allowing users to generate passive income by staking their cryptocurrencies. Users had the option to stake their tokens for different periods to achieve varying returns:
· 3-month staking period: 10% return
· 6-month staking period: 15% return
· 12-month staking period: 20% return
To accommodate changes in our ecosystem, we have disabled the staking feature in Dohrnii Wallet. This means that new investors will no longer have the option to stake their tokens. However, we reserve the option to re-implement staking for the DAO mechanism at a later date, but with lower percentages. This approach ensures that we can focus on developing other features that are more important for the growth and stability of the Dohrnii ecosystem.
This decision is made to ensure that all wallet functions align with our long-term goals and vision for the Dohrnii project. We have maintained the un-staking- feature so that existing users who have staked their tokens have the option to un-stake them. After un-staking, they can leave their tokens in the wallet, send them to other wallets or users, or use them in other ways that suit their individual needs.
We understand that this decision may be disappointing for some users, particularly those who have benefited from the attractive staking returns. However, we believe this decision is in the best interest of the Dohrnii ecosystem. We want to express our gratitude to all users who have used the staking feature so far for their trust and support and assure them that we will continue to work tirelessly on enhancing and expanding the entire Dohrnii ecosystem.
